Singing Dog AI for Any Animal, Not Just Dogs
Rumpelstiltskin AI Video's singing dog AI is a browser tool that makes a dog, cat, hamster, parrot, rabbit, goat or any other animal sing from one photo (two photos make a duet). You get a 5, 10 or 15-second MP4 in 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9, from 7 credits (about $0.25), and 3 free sign-up credits for Seedance 2.0 Mini. Free-account videos carry a moving watermark. No app to install.

Which animals can a singing dog AI make sing?
Any animal with a visible face can be tried, because the prompt tells the model to keep the animal's own muzzle or beak, nose and teeth and never to add human lips, teeth or hands. Mammals with a clear mouth (dogs, cats, hamsters, goats) usually give the most believable singing. Birds open the beak instead of lips and vary more. Reptiles, fish and insects have no moving lips for the model to follow, so expect a weak or odd result. The table is what to expect, not a guarantee; a take that finishes is charged even if your animal sings poorly.
| Animal | What to expect | Best photo | What tends to go wrong |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dogs (any breed) | The tool was written for them; the most reliable choice. | Face to the camera at eye level, mouth area clear. | Flat-faced breeds (pugs, French bulldogs) can get a reshaped snout; very dark fur can hide the mouth line. |
| Cats | Works the same way; the small mouth moves less, so the singing looks gentler. | Awake, eyes open, whiskers and chin visible. | Long fur can smear around the mouth; a yawning photo can give oversized teeth. |
| Hamsters, guinea pigs, mice | Can work (see the hamster example); the singing is small and quick. | A close-up where the animal fills at least half the frame, sitting up if possible. | In a whole-cage photo the face is too small to animate; front paws can start to look like hands. |
| Rabbits | Can work, but rabbits barely open their mouths in real life, so the jaw looks more cartoonish. | A front view with both eyes and the nose visible. | Ears flicker or merge; side views often give almost no mouth movement. |
| Parrots and other birds | The beak opens and closes instead of lips; results vary more than with mammals. | Head at a three-quarter angle so the beak line shows; one bird per photo. | The beak can bend like a mouth or the feathers around the face can flicker. |
| Goats, horses, farm animals | Long faces can sing (see the goat example); keep the head and neck in frame. | Head and neck in sharp daylight, not the whole body far away. | A long muzzle can stretch, or the head drifts out of a 16:9 frame; 9:16 keeps it in. |
| Reptiles, fish, insects | A poor fit: there are no lips or cheeks to move, so you may get an invented mouth or almost nothing. | Try only if you accept spending credits on a retry. | Scales and patterns change; a human-like mouth can appear. |

How to make any pet sing with AI
To make a dog singing AI video, or one with any other animal, upload one clear photo, pick a scene and a sound, then generate. It runs in the browser on iPhone, Android or a computer and takes a few minutes; you download a finished MP4 with the singing already in it.
- 01
Upload your animal's photo
Add one photo with the face toward the camera. Add a second animal's photo if you want a duet: Photo 1 sings on the left, Photo 2 on the right.
- 02
Pick a scene
Bathtub opera (towel and hair dryer), a stage with a vintage microphone, a recording studio, or a birthday party.
- 03
Choose the sound
Let the AI sing a short song in the scene's style, sing Happy Birthday with a name on the birthday scene, or upload your own 2–15 second MP3 or WAV.
- 04
Choose model, length and size
Seedance 2.0 Mini is the default and the cheapest. Pick 5, 10 or 15 seconds, a resolution and 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9; the button shows the exact credits.
- 05
Generate and download
Most videos take 2–6 minutes. Download the MP4, or find it later in Settings → AI tasks. A failed video returns its credits.
Which photo works for a small, beaked or long-faced animal?
Use a sharp photo where the face is large, lit evenly and turned toward the camera with the mouth closed. The model can only move what it can see: a tiny face in a wide shot, a beak seen from behind or a dark muzzle at night gives it too little to animate. One animal per photo works best; for two animals use two photos.
| Your animal | Use | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Small pet (hamster, budgie, mouse) | A close-up where the animal fills at least half the photo. | The whole cage, glass reflections, a far-away shot. |
| Bird with a beak | Head at a three-quarter angle, beak closed and fully visible. | The back of the head, wings spread, a bird in flight. |
| Long face (goat, horse, greyhound) | Head and neck only, then the 9:16 frame. | The full body from far away, which leaves the mouth tiny. |
| Dark fur or feathers | Bright, even daylight so the edge of the mouth shows. | Night photos, flash glare, a bright window behind the animal. |
| Flat face (pug, Persian cat) | A straight-on photo with the mouth closed, taken from a step back. | Wide-angle phone close-ups that bulge the nose. |
| Two animals (duet) | Two photos, one animal in each, framed about the same. | One photo with both animals in it (only one photo per singer is used). |

Free credits, watermark and download
Sign-up credits let you try the cheapest model without paying, and every finished MP4 can be downloaded. Videos from accounts without a purchase carry a moving watermark.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Free to watch | The five examples play for free. There is no free preview made from your own photo. |
| Sign-up credits | New accounts currently get 3 credits, valid for 3 days. The cheapest singing video needs 7 credits. That alone does not cover a video. Sign-up credits only pay for Seedance 2.0 Mini. |
| Watermark | Videos from accounts without a completed purchase carry a moving site watermark. After any purchase, earlier and new videos download without it. |
| Download | Downloading or re-downloading a finished MP4 costs nothing. A new take costs credits again. |
| If it fails | A video that fails, or a Seedance 2.5 photo check that refuses the photo, costs nothing. A video that finishes but sings poorly is charged. |
Singing animal AI tools compared

Can a singing dog AI make my dog talk?
No. This tool only sings: the prompt asks for singing with no speech or narration, and there is no box for typing a script. People searching for an AI dog talking video want a voice saying words, which this page does not make. The nearest options here are the birthday scene, which sings Happy Birthday with a name, or your own song clip. A clip of someone speaking is not what the prompt is written for, so the mouth may not match it.
What it can't do, and how to fix a bad take
It makes one or two animals sing for at most 15 seconds in one of four scenes. It cannot make them talk, sing lyrics you type, sing in a group of three or more, or keep going past 15 seconds, and it cannot edit the lip-sync of a finished video: a new take costs credits again. Breed, markings and props can drift. The table lists common problems and what usually helps.
- No talking and no typed lyrics or script (this site takes no free-text prompts).
- At most two animals; no choirs or group photos.
- Up to 15 seconds; cut a longer song to a 2–15 second clip.
- MiniMax H3 cannot use your own song.
- No fixing a finished video; each new take is charged.
| Problem | Likely cause | What helps |
|---|---|---|
| The mouth moves at the wrong moments with my song | Long instrumental parts or quiet vocals | Trim to a chorus with clear singing, about 5–10 seconds. |
| My pet looks like a different breed | A small or side-on face in the photo | Use a closer, straight-on photo; try Seedance 2.5. |
| Human-looking teeth or lips | Dark fur, or a photo with the mouth already open | Use a brighter photo with the mouth closed. |
| Extra paws or a floating hair dryer | The busy bathtub scene with props | Try the stage or studio scene, or a 5-second clip. |
| A bird's beak bends like lips | A straight-on bird photo | Use a three-quarter view and expect to retry. |
| Blurry after posting | 480p plus the platform's compression | Pick 720p or 1080p for videos you will post. |
What is the singing dog AI trend?
It is the habit of turning a pet photo into a short clip of the pet singing, usually a pop song, an opera line or Happy Birthday. It has come in waves, each with its own look:
- 2022: photo-animation apps let people make pet photos lip-sync to pop songs, and the clips spread across TikTok.
- November 3, 2024: a TikTok post shows a toy poodle named Angela mouthing SKAI ISYOURGOD's Chinese rap song "因果" (the "mountains of gold and silver" line); it passed 5.9 million views and became the "Chinese rap dog" meme.
- October 2026: pets wrapped in a towel in the bathtub, singing opera into a hair dryer, became the new version; this tool's bathtub scene follows it.
Singing animal AI: questions
Can a parrot or other bird sing with this?
You can try. The prompt tells the model to keep the bird's own beak, so the beak opens and closes on the sung syllables instead of growing lips. Birds vary more than dogs or cats: use a sharp photo with the head at a three-quarter angle and the beak fully visible, and expect that a take may need a retry, which costs credits again.
Does it work on hamsters, rabbits and other small pets?
Yes, as long as the face is big enough in the photo. Use a close-up where the animal fills at least half of the frame. Hamsters and guinea pigs usually sing with small, quick mouth movements; rabbits open their mouths less, so the result looks more cartoonish.
Can my dog and my cat sing a duet?
Yes. Add the dog as Photo 1 and the cat as Photo 2. Photo 1 sings on the left, Photo 2 answers on the right, and they sing the last line together. Use one animal per photo; a duet costs the same as a solo.
Are singing dog AI, singing pet AI and AI singing animal the same thing?
Mostly, yes. They all describe the same effect: an AI model animates a pet photo so the animal appears to sing. "Singing dog" is simply the most searched version. This tool treats them the same, whatever animal is in the photo.
Can my pet sing Happy Birthday?
Yes. Pick the birthday scene and the Happy Birthday sound, and type the name to sing (letters only). The pet wears a party hat next to a cake with candles and sings as much of the song as fits in 5, 10 or 15 seconds.
Is there a free singing animal AI?
Not here at the moment: there are no sign-up credits right now. The cheapest video costs 7 credits, and one-time packs start at $9 with no subscription. Videos from accounts without a purchase carry a moving watermark.
Does a shorter clip cost less?
Yes. The price grows with length and resolution. On Seedance 2.0 Mini at 480p, 5 seconds costs 7 credits, 10 seconds 13 and 15 seconds 20. A second photo, the scene and your own song do not add to the price.
Is my pet's photo kept or shared?
Your photos and songs are stored privately under random, unlisted file names so the video can be made and downloaded, and they are never shown in examples or galleries. The video model's provider receives them only to make your video.
