STORM II AI Video: Cost, Quality & Retry Guide
A STORM II AI video recasts the crowd sequence from GENER8ION’s live-action “STORM” music video featuring Yung Lean, using the track “STORM II.” Choose a photo for the still lead and, in two-photo mode, another for the dancing crowd. Compare the cost, inspect the closest faces, and plan any extra takes before you post.

Check the lead and front row first. A wider crowd has smaller faces; higher resolution cannot guarantee every distant face.

Choose a STORM II clip for your post
The STORM II AI video generator keeps one scene and routine. Length changes the part of that routine you get; it is not a slower or faster version.
| Check | What to expect |
|---|---|
| 10 seconds | The late crowd movement, taken from seconds 16–26 of the full sequence. A short option for a quick post. |
| 15 seconds · default | Starts at second 11 of the full sequence, including the lead’s stare and the crowd bow. Available on all five models. |
| 28 seconds | Keeps the entrance and full sequence. Seedance 2.5 only; one continuous generation. |
| 9:16 or 16:9 | Use portrait for a vertical Reel, or landscape to show more of the crowd. Generate in that shape before adding text in your editor. |
| 480p, 720p or 1080p | 480p costs less for a first take. 720p gives more pixels for posting. Pro and 2.5 also offer 1080p; Mini and Fast stop at 720p. STORM II MiniMax H3 is 720p only. More pixels do not repair wrong faces or hands. |
Check the lead, front rows and back rows
To remake the STORM II crowd shot with AI, start with the photo roles. Then watch once at normal speed and pause on the turn, bow and widest frame. These are review steps, not a promise that every take passes.
The lead
Check Photo 1 at the entrance and after the head turn. A sharp face in the first frame is not enough if the identity changes later.
The nearest dancers
In two-photo mode, compare the closest faces with Photo 2. Watch their bow together: one late row is a motion issue, not an audio-volume issue.
The wide crowd
At the pull-back, look for joined heads, duplicated limbs and broken rows. Distant faces have little detail; judge the formation separately from close-up identity.
What one video—and ten posts—will cost
Quotes include the photo preparation and the finished clip. One-photo and two-photo modes cost the same, as do the two frame shapes. A completed replacement take uses credits again.

Check the downloaded MP4 first. Editing can fix timing or compression settings; it cannot turn a wrong generated face into the right one. Change one input at a time if you decide to generate again.
| Symptom | Check first | Try next | New take? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Looks soft on Reels | Compare the local file with the uploaded post. | Avoid repeated exports. If the original is 480p and more detail matters, choose 720p or 1080p where available. Upscaling adds pixels, not missing facial detail. | No for re-export; yes for a new render. |
| Lead or front-row face changes | Check photo order, face visibility and the turn. | Use a clear, unobstructed photo of the intended subject. A new take may improve consistency, but it is not guaranteed. | Yes, if you regenerate. |
| Joined heads or distorted hands | Pause the widest frame and the crowd bow. | Reject a distracting take. Higher resolution alone will not undo a structural error; reconsider the photo and whether a shorter segment meets your purpose. | Yes for another generated take. |
| Bow and music feel out of step | Compare the downloaded file before adding a second song. | Keep one audible track. In an editor, align the bow with the same beat in your chosen excerpt; a 10s cut starts later than a 28s clip. | No for an audio edit; a motion remake is charged. |
Check the soundtrack and frame before posting
The template puts back its reference soundtrack. Use the actual length of your take when editing; adding the song from its beginning can shift the bow away from the beat.
1.Choose the roles and frame
Upload the lead photo, then the crowd photo for two-photo mode. Select 9:16 or 16:9, length, model and resolution. Read the credit quote before generating.
2.Review the finished MP4
After completion, download the MP4. Watch the lead’s turn, front-row bow and wide crowd, then listen to the soundtrack. Keep the original file for comparison.
3.Edit once and check the post
If you add platform music, mute the existing track and align the same beat to the bow. Export once at the source frame shape. Check the uploaded version for compression, timing and the music permissions available to your account.

STORM II AI video questions
Why does the lead’s face change halfway through my STORM II AI video?
The generator must keep an identity while the head and camera move. Check that Photo 1 is the intended lead, then inspect the face after the turn. A clear, unobstructed photo is a better input than a small or heavily filtered face. A higher resolution alone does not guarantee identity; another completed take uses credits.
How do I check whether the STORM II crowd bows together?
Play at normal speed, then pause just before and during the bow. Compare the nearest row with the rows behind it. Check the downloaded file with its original audio before editing: a delayed music track and a dancer moving late are different problems.
My 480p Reel is blurry. Should I regenerate, upscale or change the export?
If the local MP4 is sharper than the post, first avoid extra compression and repeated exports. If the local 480p file lacks detail, a new 720p or available 1080p take gives more pixels at a higher credit cost. Upscaling can enlarge the file but cannot recover a face the model did not draw correctly.
What can I do about merged heads or strange hands in the wide crowd?
Pause the widest frame and judge the formation separately from the lead. Higher resolution does not automatically fix malformed anatomy. If the defect is distracting, change the input photo or choose a different take. Do not assume every distant dancer will reproduce Photo 2 perfectly.
The music in CapCut is two seconds early. How do I align it?
Use the downloaded video’s bow as an anchor. Keep one audible track, move the replacement song until the same beat meets that bow, then check another movement later in the clip. The 10s and 15s cuts begin partway through the full sequence, so copying the full-song start time will misalign them.
What does two photos, 15 seconds and 720p actually cost?
On Seedance 2.5, that take costs 280 credits, the same as one-photo mode. At the Studio pack rate this is $9.90, but a new buyer needs a whole pack: the lowest combination is $19.00 for 300 credits. Other models have different quotes in the table.
How much should I budget for ten STORM II posts and retries?
At the default 15s / Seedance 2.5 / 480p setting, ten completed takes use 1270 credits. From a zero balance the lowest pack combination costs $77.00, supplies 1300 credits and leaves 30. Add 127 credits for each extra completed take; use the planner for another model or resolution. Technical failures refund credits.
Does a failed task get a refund? What if the video finishes but the face is wrong?
A technical failure returns the credits charged for that task. A finished video is not automatically refunded because you dislike its appearance. Generating a replacement creates a new task at the shown price, so inspect the original and choose a specific change before spending on another take.
